How we choose to enthoose about good news…!

Our Objectives -

  • encourage our community with good news!

  • build enthoosiasm! Enthusiasm is a very old word. It is derived from 3 Ancient Greek words:

    • ousia: the essence, or spirit

    • theo: god

    • en: inside

… and therefore means to be possessed by the spirit of God.
Our God is the father of Abraham and of Jesus, the God of the Bible, the God of Love!

  • to share the youthful spirit of joy that we experience from our young people, and those young at heart.

  • to inspire active contributions and support for our community

Our motto -

  • enthusiasm creates enthoosiasm!

Of course, the “good news” about which we enthoose all stems from the Gospel: a word that comes from 2 other old words that together literally mean “good news”.

Editorial Team

This good news space is built on the commitment of an enthooosiastic editorial team of Christadelphians who pledge to share with our wider network (at least) one good news story / snippet / insight per month from experiences in their community, through engaging visuals and some sincere words.

The commitment to “enthoose” does not always come easy, and requires an active ongoing choice against complacency, negativity, and cynicism. We take that choice seriously, but celebrate it too, choosing each month to share good news that we think might enthoose others.

Our Editorial team, who choose to enthoose:

Adam Byrnes | Castle Hill

Martin Otoole | Newcastle / Lake Macquarie

Adam Wyszinski | SCYP

Antony Pearce | Hurstville

If you would like to join us in our commitment to “enthoose” about good news, please get in touch in the comments section of our blog.

Content Safety and Privacy Policy:

While seeking to share our enthooosiasm, we are also sensitive about our community’s privacy and safety.

We only seek to share news about people who are part of our community, and we respect the privacy of our community members. When sharing good news, our paramount concern is for the wellbeing and safety of our members. While good news can often be even more powerful if it is specific and personal (“I know that person!!”) , we are aware that in our connected world, data and privacy is a serious business, and must be treated with care.

Some of the steps we are taking in this space:

  • The only people whose names we will use in full are our editorial panel, unless specifically requested otherwise.

  • references to individuals will be limited, and we will only ever use first names, or even nicknames if more suitable (we might even make some up!)

  • there will be no tags, hashtags on this site etc etc

  • we discourage people from publishing links to this website.

  • we limit this sites visibility to search engines; the best way to get to it will be to know its URL

First priority is always safety, well-being and respect; and second is the good news, even if from time to time certain details might more prudently be withheld.

If for any reason we get this wrong, we will seek to rectify this immediately. If content about you has been shared in any way that you are not 100% happy with, please contact us and it will be enthusiastically removed.
